

Jim Meekison

Jim has accumulated experience in private equity, investment banking, and operations management. After several years as an investment banker with E. F. Hutton in New York City and Nesbitt Thomson in Toronto, Jim co-founded Cablecasting Limited in 1969. Cablecasting grew to become one of Canada's largest cable television companies with systems in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto. After selling Cablecasting in 1986, Jim moved into private investment and merchant banking, by starting Fusion Capital and later Trimin Capital in 1990. Jim holds Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
